Working with mixed media in discordant, contrasting layers, the colors are primary and complementary, trying to attain as much variation as possible. The motifs are heads, land and some of the images that I fix on from the millions that inundate us each day. They're more like drawings than paintings, a bricolage of candy coated terror from contemporary society, or the illusions of some dream state: state or states, imposed or attained.
